DR. LEWIS: I've had a lot of patients who've come in who wanted to have veneers done, but they just said, you know, my teeth are in good shape and I just really don't want to have my teeth taken down. And I'd do veneers, but I just don't want to have them drilled on. And so I came up with this concept working with DaVinci Studios out of California and we developed these veneers and they named them after me, they call them G. Lewis Veneers. And basically they're a non-prep veneer or in some cases a minimal prep to where we just barely smooth the tooth. But in most cases we don't have to do any drilling on the teeth at all. You get the color you need and you can whiten the teeth. You can make them look straighter. But it's so thin that it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the teeth. There are some other products out on the market that are a non-prep-style veneer, but I've never really seen any of them that I thought looked any good, so that's why I worked with them to develop these. And they look so beautiful. They're very lustrous. They're very lifelike-looking. Everyone I've done them on have been extremely pleased with them and just love the way they look and love the fact that I didn't have to drill on their teeth.
