DR. LEWIS: Zoom! whitening is really great for a lot of patients. It's really all they need. They have nice teeth, they're fairly straight, and they just want them whiter and brighter, so Zoom! is an in-office procedure we do where they come in, it takes about an hour, an hour and a half. And we put a bleaching gel on their teeth and then we use an intense light that activates that bleach and makes it work really quick to pull the stains out of their teeth. And most people see an eight- to ten-shade shift in the color of their teeth in just an hour, hour and a half. So it really works great.

There's another product we can do. It's made by the same company. It's called Nite White. And it's a bleaching product that you put in a tray that you wear on your teeth. And it can be worn for either an hour at a time or you can actually sleep in it and do it overnight. And it gives a great result, too. It just takes longer than the Zoom! So a lot of people like to kick start it and do the Zoom! And do it fast. Other people want to do it to where they do it at home and they can do it at night. And they both work fantastic and both give a great result.
